Il successo dell'iniziativa è stato confermato dalla attenta e interessata partecipazione del pubblico presente, che ha stimolato i relatori ad un intenso e vivace dibattito alla conclusione di ciascuna giornata di lavori, e dall'interesse dell'editore Birkhäuser di Basilea a pubblicare gli Atti relativi nella sua collana di Storia della scienza.
